To remove the spot patch, detach the sheet along the dotted lines. There are 2 sizes of patches to fit different spots.
1. Clean the affected spot thoroughly and dry it with a clean towel.
2. Carefully apply the patch to the spot with clean hands.
3. Leave the patch on during the day or overnight. Gently remove it after 6 to 8 hours of application and let the skin breathe between applications.
The patch can be used at different stages of the spot:
- During the inflammatory phase: it will help relieve inflammation, thanks to salicylic acid and vitamin C, while also protecting the spot to prevent bacteria from worsening the inflammation and to avoid touching it too much. The hydrocolloid technology will also maintain the spot in a moist environment, ideal for enhancing its maturation process.
- When your spot is white: it will help absorb the contents of the spot without the need to pop it, thus avoiding the appearance of marks and scars.
- When your spot is popped: after disinfecting the spot, apply a patch to the wound: the hydrocolloid helps maintain the wound in a moist environment, an ideal condition for the spot to heal quickly and properly.
The patch can also be used in conjunction with the Clear OUT spot treatment and the repairing Cica OUT treatment.
After removing the patch:
- If it's an inflammatory spot: apply the spot treatment and leave the spot uncovered.
- If it's a white spot, or about to become one: apply a bit of spot treatment, once absorbed and the area is dry, apply a patch.
- If it's a popped white spot: disinfect with an alcohol-free solution and apply the repairing treatment. Once absorbed and the area is dry, apply a patch.
