Originally a dancer and choreographer, this young designer originally saw herself as more of a prima ballerina than a fashionista. And yet she was passionate about more than one artistic domain, and got her start re-selling vintage handbags on Ebay alongside her day job. It was here that she noticed the high demand for Saddle bags, which pushed her to launch S.Joon in 2017. Based on the philosophy of investing in high-quality essentials in the name of reducing our consumption, this brand's collections are made by talented artisans and fashioned of Italian leather. Inspired by vintage aesthetics, the creator offers us handbags that are defined by sculptural, contemporary silhouettes that seem to echo the body and its movements. Signature styles? The Teardrop, with its gentle lines, and the Tulip — a nod to the flower Asvandi received at her marriage proposal.
