Founded in Geneva in 1999, Mizensir is renowned the world over for its charismatic, one-of-a-kind fragrances and its luxurious, elegant style. Tender Oud is the story of a dreamed Orient: master perfumer Alberto Morillas imagines the scent of sand, stretching as far as the eye can see, that would concentrate all the perfumes of those who have walked on it. The smell of spice caravans, where saffron and pepper, as precious as gold, merge with the scent of wood, and the tanned and smoked leather of the trunks where merchants transport fabrics along the Silk Road. Tender Oud has the dry minerality of the grains of sand, sometimes burning hot and sometimes ice cold, depending on the time of day or night. Its spicy, woody and smoky accents are a tribute to the travellers and adventurers who have trodden its paths.

Le soleil s'est posé, le sable du Sahara est encore chaud. Il se rafraîchit lentenement, gagné par l'obscurité. Les tentes sont montés, pour affronter la nuit qui incombe. Les effluves de thé couronne la vue d'un oasis qui se présente au loin parmi les dunes. Est-ce un mirage ? Ou bien un rêve de parfumeur ? Tender Oud est le récit d'un Orient rêvé : le maître parfumeur Alberto Morillas imagine la senteur d'un sable, s'étendant à perte de vue, qui concentrerait tous les parfums de ceux qui l'ont foulé. L'odeur des caravanes d'épices où le safran et le poivre sont aussi précieux que l'or, se fondent avec celles du bois, et du cuir tanné et fumé des malles des marchants transportant les étoffes au long de la route de la soie. Tender Oud présente la minéralité sèche tantôt brûlante tantôt glacée des grains de sable, variant selon les heures du jour ou de la nuit. Ses accents épicés, boisés et fumés sont un hommage aux voyageurs et aventuriers ayant parcouru ses chemins.
