Founded in Geneva in 1999, Mizensir is renowned the world over for its charismatic, one-of-a-kind fragrances and its luxurious, elegant style. Master perfumer Alberto Morillas chose not to use the natural essence of the famous wood, instead evoking its olfactory memory through the Perfect Oud eau de parfum. The emotions stirred by the memory of the embers that turn crimson, the fine wisps perfuming the body, the fabrics and our skin are therefore highlighted. In this woody memory, the Alaskan cedar is the undisputed protagonist. Rarely used in perfumery, it gently reveals nuances of leather and incense. Refreshed by coriander and bergamot, it burns on contact with cade wood. Incandescent and radical, it is rounded off by floral notes of rose and iris. And the wisp finally becomes a scented trail.

Arrêt sur image. Chauffés par les braises, des morceaux de oud se consument. On assiste à la métamorphose d'un bois extraordinaire qui revèle alors toute sa profondeur. Pourtant, ce n'est qu'une vision. Le maître parfumeur Alberto Morillas a choisi de ne pas utiliser l'essence naturelle du fameux bois et d'évoquer plutôt son souvenir olfactif. À être mises en avant sont les émotions évoquées par le souvenir des braises qui tournent au cramoisi, les fines volutes parfumant le corps, les étoffes et la peau. Dans ce souvenir boisé, le cèdre d'Alaska est le protagoniste incontesté. Rarement utilisé en parfumerie, il dévoile doucement des nuances de cuir et d'encens. Rafraîchi par la coriandre et la bergamote, il brûle ainsi au contact du bois de cade. Incandescant et radical, il est arrondi par les notes florales de rose et d'iris. Et la volute devient enfin sillage.
