A sultan had a daughter named Nélya, a generous and passionate young woman whom he loved dearly. To pay tribute to her, he wanted to find the most beautiful rose on earth. One day, a young shepherd brought him a rose from Turkey, and his quest came to an end. This flower represented the perfection that the sultan cherished in his daughter: grace, radiance, freshness, and fervor. To thank him, he showered the shepherd with gold and named the rose after his daughter.
