The story of Laboratoires de Biarritz started when Muriel and Jean-Marc Dubois moved to the Basque coast. Passionate about surfing and having encountered the dilemma of not finding an effective sunscreen with very little impact on the environment, the couple decided to launch their own brand in 2010. The concept? A line of cosmetics that protects both the skin and ocean life, with formulas based on Gelidium sesquipedale, a red algae known for its amazing benefits and sourced in the region. Made in France (more precisely in the Atlantic Pyrenees), Laboratoires de Biarritz cosmetics are certified organic, contain 99.5% natural-origin ingredients, guaranteed without "at risk" components (parabens, silicone...) and undergo additional testing to ensure safety for the ecosystems. The brand goes even further in its commitments, its products come in 100% recyclable packaging, using recycled plastic, glass or green ink.
