Made in the same factories as those of Cire Trudon, a sister brand of Carrière Frères, this scented candle is emblematic of the French house's expertise. Cast by hand, the wax is perfumed at the last moment in order to preserve all its qualities. Woven from pure cotton, the wick is also hand centred and varies according to the fragrance, to ensure optimal burning. Designed to burn between 45 and 50 hours, this candle highlights the sweet musk scent of iris.

Pale in color, Iris pallida is a species of perennial plants from the Iridaceae family: native to the Dalmatian coast (Croatia), it grows in clusters from rhizomes. Its sword-shaped leaves unfold like a fan. The iris trend was launched by Catherine de Medici: highly prized by all in the 19th century, it became the blue gold of perfumery. Elegantly powdery, its fragrance is enveloping, slightly sweet, and comforting.

Never leave the candle burning unattended for more than 2 hours at a time. Always allow the candle to burn until the entire surface is liquid and wait for it to solidify before relighting. If black smoke appears, trim the wick. It must remain clean and should never exceed 6mm in length. Do not hesitate to recenter it after burning. Always protect the surface on which the candle is placed. Never let the candle burn until the wax is completely consumed.
