Made in the same factories as those of Cire Trudon, a sister brand of Carrière Frères, this scented candle is emblematic of the French house's expertise. Cast by hand, the wax is perfumed at the last moment in order to preserve all its qualities. Woven from pure cotton, the wick is also hand centred and varies according to the fragrance, to ensure optimal burning. Designed to burn between 45 and 50 hours, this candle highlights the fresh and fruity scent of figs.

Product detail

The fig is the fruit of the common fig tree, a tree from the Moraceae family, which grows throughout the Mediterranean basin where it has been cultivated for millennia. In France, its cultivation was developed under Louis XIV, a great fan of figs. La Quintinie, his gardener, planted over seven hundred fig trees of various varieties in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles to satisfy the King's passion. Fruity and exquisite, its scent is both exhilarating and beneficial.

Never leave the candle burning unattended for more than 2 hours at a time. Always allow the candle to burn until the entire surface is liquid and wait for it to solidify before relighting. If black smoke appears, trim the wick. It must remain clean and should never exceed 6mm in length. Do not hesitate to recenter it after burning. Always protect the surface on which the candle is placed. Never let the candle burn until the wax is completely consumed.
