Made in the same factories as those of Cire Trudon, a sister brand of Carrière Frères, this scented candle is emblematic of the French house's expertise. Cast by hand, the wax is perfumed at the last moment in order to preserve all its qualities. Woven from pure cotton, the wick is also hand centred and varies according to the fragrance, to ensure optimal burning. Designed to burn between 45 and 50 hours, this candle highlights the scent of the Camphor laurel tree.

Product detail

Leader of the Lauraceae family, this tree with fragrant leaves originates from Asia Minor. Common around the Mediterranean, it thrives in sunny and fertile areas. Its leaves stay green all year round, giving it the symbol of immortality. Formerly used to crown the heads of kings, poets, and victors, the Noble Laurel was also the symbol of Apollo in antiquity. Its fragrance reveals a subtle and camphoraceous scent.

Never leave the candle burning unattended for more than 2 hours at a time. Always allow the candle to burn until the entire surface is liquid and wait for it to solidify before relighting. If black smoke appears, trim the wick. It must remain clean and should never exceed 6mm in length. Do not hesitate to recenter it after burning. Always protect the surface on which the candle is placed. Never let the candle burn until the wax is completely consumed.
