With craftsmanship that's been passed down from generation to generation, and fine ingredients used in the service of inimitable fragrances, Creed has been a leader in perfumery for over 260 years. Founded in 1760 by James Henry Creed, the perfume house quickly established an elite clientele. From prestigious dandies like the Count d'Orsay and members of the royal family to boot, socialites of the highest order were clamoring for the made-to-order juices from House of Creed. Queen Victoria would even make them her official supplier, an important move considering that in 1854 Napoleon III and the empress Eugénie would allow Creed to set up in France. Based today in Paris and Fontainebleau, Creed's laboratories and workshops maintain the family spirit that made the brand a legend, preserving their unbeatable traditional methods. Under the direction of father-son duo Oliver and Erwin Creed, the label uses only the highest quality ingredients, mixed and macerated manually using techniques that have long since been abandoned by most other perfumers. Creed's values — talent and perfection — remain flawlessly intact.
