Made in the same factories as those of Cire Trudon, a sister brand of Carrière Frères, this scented candle is emblematic of the French house's expertise. Cast by hand, the wax is perfumed at the last moment in order to preserve all its qualities. Woven from pure cotton, the wick is also hand centred and varies according to the fragrance, to ensure optimal burning. Designed to burn between 45 and 50 hours, this candle highlights the intense and sensual scent of tuberose.

Originaire du Mexique, la tubéreuse est acclimatée en Europe à partir de 1600. Pour ne pas altérer son parfum, ses fleurs sont encore aujourd'hui ramassées à la main. Son odeur est si intense qu'en Italie les jeunes filles étaient interdites de promenade le soir dans les jardins où poussait la tubéreuse : elles n'auraient pas eu alors la force de résister aux jeunes gens, grisés par son parfum d'une trop grande sensualité ! Senteur de carnation et d'extase, fruitée et mielleuse, la tubéreuse est une fleur d'amour.

Never leave the candle burning unattended for more than 2 hours at a time. Always allow the candle to burn until the entire surface is liquid and wait for it to solidify before relighting. If black smoke appears, trim the wick. It must remain clean and should never exceed 6mm in length. Do not hesitate to recenter it after burning. Always protect the surface on which the candle is placed. Never let the candle burn until the wax is completely consumed.
