Inspired by Indian legends and rituals where jasmine becomes an offering and a symbol of beauty and love, this olfactory composition reinterprets the sacred flower, embellishing it with ylang-ylang as a top note on a benzoin resin base. The Duke of Tuscany introduced jasmine to India around 1690. Originally from Arabia, its fresh or dried flowers have since nourished Indian culture in its myths and daily rituals. Here, jasmine sambac perfumes tea or is tied into garlands; there, near temples, it becomes an offering.
