An intensely vibrant perfume, full of colors, depth, and softness, Scherzo captures a multitude of flowers: dark red rose, clouds of peony, sunny yellow narcissus, and bright white pittosporum. The softness of mandarin is balanced by the intoxicating violet richness of davana, which adds a touch of liquor to the perfume. The base shines with oudh, earthy patchouli, and a sprinkle of sugar to capture the feeling of a confectioner's window.
Launched in 2018, Scherzo is inspired by a passage from F. Scott Fitzgerald's Tender is the Night. This short passage was the only thing given to perfumer Mathieu Nardin as a brief for the perfume to create. The resulting perfume has become an instant classic and a bestseller in our fragrance house at Miller Harris.
