    The Mississippi Medicine eau de parfum by the New York-based brand D.S. & DURGA is a fragrance inspired by the rituals of the thirteenth-century mortuary cults of the proto-Mississippian populations. From the first notes, this fragrance reveals a mixture of red cedar, aldehydes and incense. At its heart, chords of cypress root, black pine and cascarilla bark balance the composition while base notes of Spanish juniper and bolt tar create a lasting imprint, enveloping the wearer in a veil of mystery.
