These terms and conditions apply to all Printemps stores participating in the Printania International loyalty programme, as well as the websites www.printemps.com and www.placedestendances.com. These terms and conditions govern the contractual relations applicable between Printemps and international customers holding the Printania International card under article 1 of these Terms, as part of the functioning of the Printania loyalty programme.



1. GENERAL


The Printania International loyalty programme (hereafter the "Programme") is provided by Printemps S.A.S., with capital of €110,563,160, RCS Paris 503 314 767, headquartered in Paris (75009) at 102 Rue de Provence. Its purpose is to provide members of the Programme with the benefits described below.

Printania cardholders are covered by the Printania loyalty programme (hereinafter "the programme") which may or may not be combined with a revolving credit card (see clause 10 hereof) that allows payments to be made in cash or on credit at the customer's express option, or upon receipt of a statement of account, by any natural person who is more than 18 years of age and is a resident of France or one of the following countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden or with banking domiciliation in France. It is understood that purchases must be made for the cardholder's own needs. The cardholder agrees not to resell any purchases to third parties, individuals or professionals.


These benefits cannot be combined with the benefits reserved for international customers such as the refund of VAT and the 10% discount offered with the Welcome card, or the benefits of the Printemps Listes card.


The programme is available in all Printemps stores with the exception of Printemps Brest, Caen, Tours and Le Havre as well as on Internet www.printemps.com and www.placedestendances.com. Printania cardholders (hereinafter "the cardholders") may not use it with partner brands such as Citadium.


The Holder can sign up for the Card free of charge at Printemps Stores eligible for the Programme or via the website www.printemps.com. This card is strictly personal. It cannot be sold, transferred or loaned.


The loyalty card bears a 16-digit number. It is used solely to link a number to a customer's purchases. The account includes all of the customer's loyalty details: his tier, points, money-off coupons, preferred brands, etc.

An account may be shared between the account holder and a joint account holder, each of whom has a loyalty card.


The account holder and the joint account holder share the programme's benefits and services on a single account (balance of TIER POINT(S) and SHOPPING POINT(s), tier, money-off coupons, three preferred brands, Printania Day(s), cap on services). A loyalty account is assigned to the account holder: he may manage the loyalty account (change brands, activate services) and he receives account management reports.

Printemps reserves the right to cancel, replace or modify all or part of the Programme at any time, along with the benefits and services offered as part of the latter.

The cardholder agrees that the programme may be modified in whole or in part at any time and that it may not give rise to any claim or claim for damages of any kind whatsoever against Printemps. The up-to-date General Terms and Conditions ofthe Printania loyalty programme are available at any time on www.printemps.com.


These General Terms and Conditions and any changes to them are deemed to have been approved by the cardholder as soon as the Printania card or a programme benefit or service is used.



2. ELIGIBILITY, JOINING THE PROGRAMME AND ISSUANCE OF CARDS


2.1 The Printania loyalty programme is open to any natural person who is more than 18 years of age and is a resident of France or one of the following countries: Germany, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland, or with banking domiciliation in France. No legal persons or any other legal entities may participate in the programme.


2.2 Each person who is eligible for the programme may only receive one card. That card is personal to him.

Printemps reserves the right to request proof of identification at any time by a person who wishes to join or has joined the Printania loyalty programme.

A physical card shall be issued in all cases for cards coupled with revolving line of credit with a payment option (see clause 10 hereof) to any natural person who is more than 18 years of age and is a French resident or has a bank domiciliation in France. It is understood that purchases shall be made solely for the cardholder's own needs. The cardholderagrees not to resell any purchased items to third parties, individuals or professionals.

Applicants can join the Printania loyalty programme:

  • At any Printemps store eligible for the Programme, by asking a salesperson or providing their passport number in the Printemps Services Area
  • Via the website www.printemps.com, by setting up a "My Space" account
  • Via the website www.printemps.com, by registering for a Printania card when setting up a printemps.com account, or at any time by clicking the "My Account" tab.

The following information must be provided when applying for the Printemps loyalty programme: title, surname, given name, date of birth, email address, country of residence and preferred language for communication (French or English).

Any change of address, name or other information that may be necessary must be updated as soon as possible via the Holder of the Card's personal account area, or through the contact form provided on the website www.printemps.com. Printemps may ask the cardholder for any supporting documents it believes to be necessary for that purpose. The cardholder guarantees that all information provided is accurate. He shall be solely liable for any incorrect, incomplete or outdated information he provides. Printemps shall under no circumstances be liable for any failure to receive an offer or any inability to use a service or benefit due to outdatedor incorrect information.


2.3 The Silver loyalty card is issued free of charge upon request to any person who is more than 18 years of age. It is activated the first time it is used.

Any cardholder who requested a physical card when he joined the programme shall receive a new card by post every time he changes tiers. Each loyalty account may have a cardholder and a joint cardholder. The cardholder is in charge of the loyalty account. He receives notices and reports relating to the management of his accountand is the only person entitled to use the functions that make it possible to select preferred brands and activate services. The joint cardholder only has the right to access the account. Both the cardholder and the joint cardholder may use the benefits and both feed the same point meter.


2.4 In order to take advantage of the benefits offered by the Printania loyalty programme, cardholders must:

  • Present a valid loyalty card (physical or electronic) in a Printemps store when they pay for purchases or use a service.Note that a cardholder who is unable to identify himself at the time of purchase shall have thirty (30) days following the purchase to exercise his rights by sending a request to Customer Services using the contact form available on the printempsfrance.com website, and attaching a photocopy of the till receipt for the purchase and proof of identification. Printemps reserves the right not to take action on the request, in particular if the purchases that were made are not eligible for the loyalty programme.
  • On the www.printemps.com :
  • create a printemps.com account by using your registered Printania card email address as your user ID. This means the printemps.com account and loyalty card will automatically be linked.
  • register the Printania card when setting up a printemps.com account, or at any time before ordering by clicking the "My Account" tab

Please note that each valid loyalty card number can only be linked to one customer account on www.printemps.com ; and that only a single valid loyalty card number can be linked to each customer account on www.printemps.com.

  • On the www.placedestendances.com : register a valid loyalty card number on the website in"My Space". The card number may be found on each loyalty card and consists of 16 figures. Confirmation that the card has been duly registered will appear within 48 hours under this same heading. Note that each valid loyalty card number may only be associated with a single customer account on www.placedestendances.com ; and that only a single valid loyalty card number can be linked to each customer account on www.placedestendances.com.


2.5 Following receipt of an email or text message from Printemps, the Printania loyalty card holder can click on the link in the email or text message with the prompt to place his/her digitized Printania loyalty card in the wallet of his/her smartphone. This service is free of charge and is accessible provided that the smartphone has internet access. Once the card is installed, the cardholder will be able to access information pertaining to his/her loyalty account and present it in store in order to benefit from the loyalty program. The cardholder will also be informed via notifications on his/her smartphone of activity on his/her loyalty account or regarding Printemps news and commercial operations. By changing the settings on his/her phone, the cardholder can manage notifications and uninstall the card. It is specified that a loyalty card can only be digitized on one device. Printemps reserves the right to request the presentation of proof of identity before any recuperation of a benefit, and to deactivate access to the service in accordance with article 7 of the present document.



3. PROGRAMME BENEFITS


3.1. Collecting STATUS POINTS

The Printania loyalty programme has four tiers that depend on the number of TIER-POINTS earned by the cardholder through his purchases in the store, provided that he uses his loyalty card, or on www.printemps.com and www.placedestendances.com provided that a valid Printania card is linked to the customer account.

Each cardholder's tier is physically represented by a specific loyalty card. The information concerning the cardholder's tier appears in the cardholder's "My Space" on www.printemps.com and in the notices sent by Printemps. The cardholder can also obtain this information upon request by going directly to a Printemps store.

The terms applicable to the calculation of STATUS POINTS are the following: :

  • € 2 net spent = 1 TIER POINT earned (rounded up to the next Euro of the amount on the receipt or order). It is understood that purchases made in the following cases are not included: restaurant, use of services, Printemps Listes gift or purchase made with Printemps Listes card, gift card or cheque, use of a money-off coupon, or delivery costs.
  • You can earn TIER POINTS in all Printemps stores that are eligible for the programme and on Level 7 of the Printemps du Goûtarea (excluding Crêperie Malo) as well as on www.printemps.com and www.placedestendances.com.


In the case of an online purchase made via the www.printemps.com or www.placedestendances.com provided that a valid Printania card was linked to the customer account prior to the purchase, the TIER POINTS for the amount of the purchase (excluding delivery costs) shall be credited thirty(30) days after the order is shipped on www.placedestendances.com and forty five (45) days on www.printemps.com

In the event of a refund for a purchase, the number of STATUS POINTS corresponding to the amount refunded will be deducted.

Statuses are accessible according to the number of STATUS POINTS accrued:

  • Silver status: between 0 and 499 STATUS POINTS
  • Ruby status: between 500 and 1,999 STATUS POINTS
  • Gold status: between 2,000 and 4,999 STATUS POINTS
  • Platinum status: 5,000 plus STATUS POINTS


In the event that the maximum points threshold for the status concerned is exceeded, the Holder of the Card will benefit from the higher status and the benefits associated with this new status the next day, on reaching the checkout. They'll also retain their SHOPPING POINTS balance and any discount vouchers acquired, provided their validity dates have not been exceeded.

A specific message and a new card indicating the new tier are automatically sent to customers who applied for a physical card.

It is understood that the Holder may see their status downgraded by one or more levels.

The new tier is always shared with and inures to the benefit of both cardholders and joint cardholders. They each receive a new card for that tier.

TIER POINTS are valid for 12 months on a rolling basis.


3.2 Collecting SHOPPING POINTS

As part of the Programme, the Holder of the Card also accrues SHOPPING POINTS when shopping, allowing them to benefit from discount vouchers in the future.

The terms applicable to the calculation of SHOPPING POINTS are the following:

  • € 2 net spent = 1 TIER POINT earned (rounded up to the next Euro of the amount on the receipt or order). It is understood that purchases made in the following cases are not included: restaurant, use of services, Printemps Listes gift or purchase made with Printemps Listes card, gift card or cheque, use of a money-off coupon, or delivery costs.
  • You can earn SHOPPING POINTS in all Printemps stores that are eligible for the programme and on Level 7 of the Printemps du Goût area (excluding Crêperie Malo) as well as on www.printemps.com and www.placedestendances.com.

In addition, the cardholder can earn SHOPPING POINTS faster in the following cases:

  • Payments made using the Printania Plus card in the store either with cash or on credit, or on a cash basis on www.placedestendances.com (see clause 10 hereof for the terms and conditions of the Printania Plus card): double SHOPPING POINTS (€2 net spent = 2 SHOPPING POINTS)
  • Items purchased in participating Printemps stores from among the three preferred brands chosen beforehand by the cardholder, either in "My Space" or at the till: double SHOPPING POINTS (€2 net spent = 2 SHOPPING POINTS)
  • Purchases made via www.printemps.com by a Printania Rubine cardholder: SHOPPING POINTS multiplied by 5 (€2 net spent = 5 SHOPPING POINTS earned), up to a maximum of 150 000 SHOPPING POINTS for this reward.
  • Purchases made via www.printemps.com by a Printania gold cardholder: SHOPPING POINTS multiplied by 8 (€2 net spent = 8 SHOPPING POINTS earned), up to a maximum of 300 000 SHOPPING POINTS for this reward.
  • Purchases made via www.printemps.com by a Printania gold cardholder: SHOPPING POINTS multiplied by 8 (€2 net spent = 8 SHOPPING POINTS earned), up to a maximum of 300 000 SHOPPING POINTS for this reward.


In the case of an online purchase made via the www.printemps.com or www.placedestendances.com provided that a valid Printania card was linked to the customer account prior to the purchase, the TIER POINTS for the amount of the purchase (excluding delivery costs) shall be credited thirty(30) days after the order is shipped on

In the event of a refund for a purchase, the number of SHOPPING POINTS corresponding to the amount refunded will be deducted.


SHOPPING POINTS expire when the cardholder is inactive (no purchases made using the Printania card) for a period of eighteen (18) months from the date of the last purchase.


3.3 Using SHOPPING POINTS

SHOPPING POINTS have no cash value and allow for quicker qualification for discount vouchers. SHOPPING POINTS do not increase the number of points linked to status.


Once a cardholder reaches 1 000 SHOPPING POINTS, they are converted the following day into a money-off coupon worth € 10 that can be picked up at the till and is valid for six (6) months.

The points corresponding to the obtention of a discount voucher are automatically subtracted from the number of SHOPPING POINTS.


Money-off coupons may be used one time, and may be combined with one another, but may not be combined with other benefits such as customer loyalty operations, Printania Days and other exclusions determined by Printemps, depending on the event concerned.It is understood that money-off coupons are not considered in the following cases: book shop, restaurant, use of services, Printemps Listes gift or purchase made with Printemps Listes card, purchase of a gift card, Louis Vuitton or Darty.


Money-off coupons can be used in all Printemps stores that are eligible for the programme (with the exception of the Place des Tendances and Printempsfrance.com websites and the Printemps Outlet in Miramas), on Level 7 of the Printemps du Goût area in Printemps Haussmann (excluding Crêperie Malo) as well as on www.printemps.com. Money-off coupons may not be exchanged for cash in whole or in part, and may not be assigned.


Money-off coupons may be used for up to 50% of the total value of the purchases made by the person using them. In the case of refunds, money-off coupons shall not be returned even in the case of a partial refund.


3.4. Details of the programme's benefits and services

Depending on their tier, cardholders and joint cardholders have access to a range of privileges with a specific, limited number of uses (see below "Details of the benefits under each tier").

Free basic and complex alterations : Available in all Printemps stores excluding the Miramas Outlet. Simple alterations include trouser hems, skirt hems and straight dresses without slits, including hand or machine stitched hems. Complex alterations include sleeve lengths, bottom lengths, total length and other alterations. Alterations may be made upon new and unworn items, provided the customer presented their Printania card at the time of purchase. Any additional alterations will be charged according to the price of the article. Prices and alteration services are only applicable to requests that are feasible and similar to the original model.


Free coffee at Printemps du Goût: In partnership with La Maison du Chocolat in the Printemps du Goût area located on Level 7 at Printemps Haussmann, a free Espresso is available to Ruby, Gold and Platinum cardholders upon presentation of their Printania card, for up to one hot beverage per day and per Printania Ruby or Gold cardholder, and for up to two hot beverages per day per Printania Platinum cardholder.


Free delivery : In all Printemps stores except the Printemps Outlet in Miramas, for any item in the store excluding furniture and bedding, within a radius of 60 kilometres (see in-store terms and conditions) for any purchase worth at least €300 for Ruby and Gold tiers, and with no purchase minimum for the Platinum tier (excluding Printemps du Goût deliveries). Purchases made on Internet www.printemps.com and www.placedestendances.com do not qualify for this reward.


Free delivery for Printemps du Goût starting at €50 of purchases: upon presentation of the Printania card on Levels 7 and 8 of Printemps Haussmann, for deliveries in inner Paris. Three Preferred Brands : The cardholder may choose his three preferred brands from among all of the brands listed in Printemps stores. His choice allows him to increase his number of SHOPPING POINTS every time he makes a purchase of that brand of product in a Printemps store (see clause 3.2 hereof) so that he can earn money-off coupons faster. A preferred brand is limited to its sector (Fashion, Beauty, Accessories, etc.). A cardholder may choose one, two or three preferred brands, but may only change his selection on the tier anniversary date, or the date of a change in tiers, or when a brand comes out or a joint cardholder is added or leaves, or at the time of any other event that requires a change, subject to acceptance by Printemps.

 

It should be noted that "Printemps du Goût" may be chosen as a preferred brand but shall only concern products purchased on Level 7 of the Printemps du Goût area (not including Crêperie Malo, Gift Cases and Boxes, the Bookshop and the Art of the Table.

 

Purchases made on www.printemps.com and www.placedestendances.com websites are not eligible for this benefit.


3.5 Promotions and marketing offers

Printania loyalty cardholders enjoy specific benefits and sales offers such as private sales, invitations to previews, in-store events, etc. Those benefits may vary depending on the tier they have reached. Programme cardholders may earn additional TIER POINTS, SHOPPING POINTS, discounts and other promotions upon presentation of their loyalty card. Printemps reserves the right to request proof of identity at any time for that purpose.

Printania programme benefits may not be combined with benefits reserved for international customers such as VAT refunds and the 10% discount offered with the Welcome Card, or benefits under the Printemps Listes card.

Ruby, Gold and Platinum tier Printania cardholders and Printania Plus cardholders enjoy an exclusive benefit that they can use at their convenience during the six-month period following the date they receive it: 15% off everything in the store, including Beauty, on the total amount of purchases on the chosen day (hereinafter, "the Printania Day").

A Printania Day begins with the first purchase and lasts 24 hours for:

  • a maximum of €10 000 in purchases, excluding Beauty, ie a maximum discount of €1 500
  • maximum purchases of €1 200 on Beauty, ie a maximum discount of €180;

It may not be combined with other benefits such as sales operations and Printania money-off coupons.

It is understood that the Printania Day shall not be taken into consideration in the following cases:

  • Purchases of red point brands: Bulgari, Chanel, Chanel Les Eaux, Cartier (excluding the Beauty range), Céline, Chloé, Dior (excluding the Beauty range), Hermès luxury accessories Fendi (excluding the Beauty range), Goyard, Gucci (excluding the Beauty range), Louis Vuitton, Maison Christian Dior, Maisons Du Monde, Max Mara, Rimowa, Rolex, Tiffany, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Yves Saint Laurent (excluding the Beauty range).
  • Purchases in the following departments: books, food, use of services, gifts and purchases from a wedding list, purchase of a gift card or purchase made in whole or in part using a gift card, Printemps du Goût at Printemps Haussmann, Darty shop-in-shop, Fnac shop-in-shop.


The Printania Day may be used in all Printemps stores that are eligible for the programme (with the exception of Printemps Caen, Brest, Tours, Le Havre and the Printemps Outlet in Miramas and the websites www.printemps.com and www.placedestendances.com). In that connection, Printemps reserves the right to ask for proof of identity at any time. The Printania Day may not be refunded in the case of refunds of purchases made on that day.


Moreover, it should be noted that in the event of a tier change, any unused Printania Days are lost, and the client will be entitled to the number of Printania Days under the new tier starting on the date the tier changes. On the other hand, the Customer retains his SHOPPING POINTS, TIER POINTS and money-off coupons.


For any purchase of your wedding outfit (hereinafter "the Outfit(s)"), using your Printania Day, please note that since the Outfit is made to order, your down payment will not be refunded in the event your Purchase Order is cancelled, and you undertake to pay the entire price of the Outfit as specified above, and agree that you will not be refunded the amount of your Printania Day. As the Outfits are made to measure in response to a personalised request, in the event of the cancellation of your Purchase Order, Printemps shall not owe you any credit note for the down payment you made and you will be invoiced the balance of the price of the Outfit as well as the cost of alterations. In the specific instance in which the alterations have not yet been made, you will only owe the amount for the purchase of the Outfit. We hereby advise you that the Outfit shall remain Printemps' property until the agreed price has been paid in full.

5. LOSS OR THEFT


5.1 Printania loyalty card

In the event of the theft or loss of the loyalty card, the cardholder must contact the Printemps Customer Services desk at his Printemps store or contact Customer Services using the contact form available on the printemps.com in order to block the use of the card.

A new card will then be delivered to the cardholder or sent to his home address. In that case, he will retain his benefits. However, Printemps is relieved of any liability, including liability for the fraudulent use of benefits by a third party before the card is blocked.


The same steps should be followed if the cardholder has an electronic card, in the event that his cell phone is stolen.*


5.2 Printania Plus loyalty card

Where a credit card is linked to a revolving line of credit (see clause 10 hereof), the cardholder must contact Sofinco's customer service department (open around the clock, 7 days a week at 0 825 084 928 -- there is no surcharge for this number) to stop any payment with his card, and Printemps' customer service department using the contact form available on the printemps.com website in order to block the use of his card's loyalty benefits.



6. RENEWAL AND CANCELATION OF THE LOYALTY CARD OR PRINTANIA ACCOUNT


The Printania loyalty card will be automatically cancelled if it is not used for a period of three (3) months. For that purpose, the cardholder shall receive an email in advance informing him of the steps he needs to follow if he wishes to retain his loyalty card.


The cardholder or a third party acting on his behalf (upon presentation of a supporting document: death, placement under guardianship, etc.) may ask to have the account cancelled in the store: the related card(s) will then be disabled, and the benefits earned will be lost.

If the cardholder has a payment-option loyalty card (see clause 10.2 hereof), Printemps may exclude the cardholder from the loyalty programme without being able to close his line of credit. However, the line of credit associated with the payment option loyalty card will remain active. The customer may then continue to use his card exclusively for payments.



7. EXPULSION FROM THE PROGRAMME


The Printania programme offers loyal Printemps customers benefits and services based on their purchases. The programme assumes that the cardholder complies with the General Terms and Conditions of the programme and that his conduct towards Printemps is fair and equitable.


As a result:

  • any breach of these terms and conditions,
  • any abusive or fraudulent use of the benefits and services offered through the programme,
  • any purchase of more than ten (10) products per day with the same item number in the Beauty range,
  • or any purchase of more than five (5) products per day sharing the same ID number within the other departments
  • any act likely to disrupt the functioning of the programme and/or stores,
  • any falsification of information submitted by the Card Holder or a third party acting on their behalf,
  • and as a general matter, any conduct that is prejudicial to the interests of Printemps, shall automatically result in the cancellation of his loyalty account, leading to deactivation of the related card(s), and the loss of points and benefits, and no compensation or damages of any kind whatsoever may be claimed from Printemps.


In view of the above, the Printemps Company furthermore reserves the right to take any measure or initiate any action (including legal) that it deems necessary.



8. LIABILITY


The Printemps Group is exempted from liability for any direct or indirect consequences of any anomalies or malfunctions of the Card, the account and the www.placedestendances.com, website www.printemps.com websites, whatever their causes.

Where the number of points accrued is contested, only the information contained in the Printemps database will be accepted, unless proven otherwise.


All or part of the benefits and services of the programme, as well as the terms of use and validity, can be modified unilaterally at any time by the Printemps Group, without notice and without any claim or compensation of any kind whatsoever being imposed by the Card Holder, the joint holder, or any third party.

10. SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE PRINTANIA PLUS CARD


You are bound by a credit and must repay it. Determine your ability to repay before you make a commitment.

A credit card coupled with a revolving line of credit can be obtained within the framework of the programme.


The Printania Plus card is a credit card offered by our partner, Sofinco, which is coupled with a revolving line of credit entitling the holder to benefits that can be used for payments with cash and/or on credit at your express option either at the till or when you receive your account statement. This ad is distributed by Printemps SAS, the Bank Representative linked to CA Consumer Finance, which contributes to the performance of credit transactions without acting in the capacity of lender and Legal Representative of an Insurance Intermediary registered with ORIAS under no. 10053310 (www.orias.fr). Offer reserved to individuals. Revolving line of credit granted subject to acceptance by CA Consumer Finance, of which SOFINCO is a brand, a French limited company (SA) with a share capital of € 554 482 422, having its registered office at 1 Rue Victor Basch ? 10.1 Promotions and sales offers

Printania Plus cardholders enjoy the same benefits and services as loyalty cardholders (see clause 3.5 hereof). In addition, they have a specific benefit in the form of a 15% discount on everything in the store by paying with their Printania Plus credit card on the date they sign for the Printemps revolving line of credit, upon presentation of the voucher issued to the customer that same day. This excludes red points, food, restaurant, book shop and services (payments by Printemps Listes donors and Printemps Gift Card). Offer valid in all Printemps stores except Printemps Louvre, Caen, Brest, Tours, Le Havre, the Printemps Outlet in Miramas and Printemps du Goût. Cannot be combined with other current discounts or promotions. Printemps reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time. They are also entitled to a revolving line of credit whose general terms and conditions shall be provided to them when they sign their contract.


10.2. Payment terms

Printania Plus cardholders have the opportunity to pay in the store for their purchases with their card either in cash or on credit: in several monthly instalments (over a maximum of 36 or 60 months depending on the amount of the credit extended) or to pay in several instalments by relying on a financing offer (3, 5 or 10 instalments starting from € 150 of purchases) when they go to the till, or by contacting Sofinco the day after their purchase and right up to receipt of their account statement (closure date noted on the statement plus 10 days, ie, 28 May for statement dated 18 May).

If the cardholder prefers a repayable loan, he may contact Sofinco at 09 73 32 33 09 (there is no surcharge for this number). Printemps may expel the customer from the loyalty programme but cannot close his line of credit. The customer may then continue to use his card, but only for payment.


10.3. Renewal and cancellation

Printania Plus cards may be renewed in the store at the Printemps Customer Service desk (l'Espace Printemps Services) upon presentation of a valid ID.

Accounts may only be closed in accordance with Sofinco's terms and conditions. The request must be made in the store at the Printemps Customer Service desk (l'Espace Printemps Services) or by letter posted to Sofinco at the following address: SOFINCO, VEPEX 5 000, 59072 ROUBAIX CEDEX.


Printania Plus cards are valid for three (3) years provided that the account is sufficiently active (refer to the specific conditions relating to this kind of card).


10.4. Liability

The Printemps Group shall under no circumstances be liable for any damage or loss arising out of the use of the Printania Plus card, regardless of the source of the damage or loss.



11. MISCELLANEOUS


These General Terms and Conditions cancel and supersede all prior documents.

These terms and conditions apply to all Printemps stores participating in the Printania International loyalty programme, as well as the websites www.placedestendances.comwww.printemps.com.These terms and conditions govern the contractual relations applicable between Printemps and international customers holding the Printania International card under article 1 of these Terms, as part of the functioning of the Printania loyalty programme.



1. OVERVIEW


Le programme de fidélité Printania International (ci-après le « Programme ») est proposé par Printemps S.A.S., au capital de 110.563.160€, 503 314 767 RCS Paris, dont le siège social est situé à Paris (75009), 102 rue de Provence. Il a pour objet de faire bénéficier les membres du Programme des avantages décrits ci-après.


The Programme applies to holders of the Printania International card (hereafter the "Card"), meaning any individual over 18 years old, residing outside of France and outside of the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden (hereafter the "Holder" or "Holders").


Provided that purchases made are for the specific needs of the Holder of the Card. The latter prohibits any resale to third parties, individuals or professionals.

Card benefits can be combined with tax refunds. However, they cannot be combined with the benefits offered to Holders of the Printania card or the Printemps Listes card.

Le Programme est disponible dans tous les magasins Printemps sauf Printemps Brest, Caen, Le Havre et Tours (ci-après les « Magasins »), ainsi que sur le site Internet www.printemps.com. The Holders of the Card will not be able to use it with partner brands, such as Citadium.

The Holder can sign up for the Card free of charge at Printemps Stores eligible for the Programme or via the website www.printemps.com. This card is strictly personal. It cannot be sold, transferred or loaned.


The electronic Card, a unique medium, can only be used to link a number to the purchases made by the customer. As for the account, it carries all the information related to the loyalty of the customer, including their status, points and discount vouchers.

An account can be shared by a Holder and a joint holder, both of whom have a Card.

The Holder and joint holder share the programme's benefits and services on the same account (STATUS POINTS and SHOPPING POINTS balance, status, discount vouchers).

The loyalty account is assigned to the Holder; they receive the account management communications.


Printemps reserves the right to cancel, replace or modify all or part of the Programme at any time, along with the benefits and services offered as part of the latter.

The Holder acknowledges that the Programme may be modified, entirely or partially, at any time and shall not be subject to any complaint, or claim for damages of any kind against the Printemps company. The up-to-date terms and conditions of the Programme can be accessed at any time on the websites www.printemps.com and www.placedestendances.com.


These terms and conditions and any changes to them are considered approved by the Holder on using the Card, any benefit or service as part of the Programme.



2. ELIGIBILITY, MEMBERSHIP IN THE PROGRAMME AND ISSUE OF CARDS


2.1 The Programme is open to any individual over 18 years old, residing outside of France and outside of the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden. The participation of legal persons or any other legal entities is excluded.


2.2 Each person eligible for the Programme can only benefit from one single Card. The latter being personal, it cannot be transferred to a third party.

Printemps reserves the right to ask for the Customer's passport at any time, in order to identify the person wanting to sign up or having signed up to the Programme.

Any individual referred to in article 1 of the Terms can join the Programme:: 

  • dans tous les magasins Printemps éligibles au programme, sur demande under the conditions provided for in the article on Personal Data ; Via the website www.printemps.com, by registering the Card when creating an account on printemps.com or at any time in the "My account" section.


The following information must be communicated for the purposes of joining the Programme: title, forename, surname, birthday, email address, passport information (number and expiry date), country of residence and preferred language for notifications (French or English). With reference to China, Macau, Taiwan and Hong Kong, the Holder's mobile telephone number will also be required within the context of joining the Programme.


Any change of address, name or other information that may be necessary must be updated as soon as possible via the Holder of the Card's personal account area, or through the contact form provided on the website www.printemps.com.


However, the passport number cannot be modified by the Holder themselves. The latter must visit the Store to do this.


Printemps can ask the Holder of the Card for any supporting documents deemed necessary for this purpose. The Card Holder guarantees the accuracy of all the information provided. They are solely responsible for any erroneous, incomplete or obsolete information given.

Printemps will in no way be liable in the event of non-receipt of an offer, or the inability to use a service or a benefit resulting from obsolete or erroneous information.


2.3 The electronic Silver loyalty card is issued on request, free of charge to any individual over 18 years old and is active from its first use.

With each change in status, the Holder will receive an email informing them of their new status and the associated benefits.

Any loyalty account can have a holder and a joint holder; the Holder controls the loyalty account and so receives the account management communications. The joint holder, however, only has a right to be consulted. Benefits can be used by the Holder and the joint holder, who contribute to the same point count.

The Holder and the joint holder must both reside in one of the countries referred to in article 1 of the Terms.


2.4 To take advantage of the benefits offered as part of the Programme, the Holder must:

  • at Printemps Stores: present their valid passport when paying for purchases or making use of any services. It is specified that one unique passport number can only be linked with one customer account
  • on the www.printemps.com :
  • create a printemps.com account by using the email address originally supplied to sign up for the Card as the username, the printemps.com account and the loyalty card will then be automatically paired up; ;
  • register the Card when setting up an account on printemps.com or any time before placing an order in the "My account" section.


It is specified that each valid loyalty card number can only be linked with one customer account on www.printemps.com and a single valid loyalty card number can be linked with each customer account on www.printemps.com



3. PROGRAMME BENEFITS


3.1. Collecting STATUS POINTS

The Programme recognises four (4) statuses depending on the number of STATUS POINTS accrued by the card holder, based on purchases made by the latter in store, provided they identified themselves at the cash desk by presenting their passport, or on the www.printemps.com website provided that a valid Card is linked with the customer account.

The status of each Holder is indicated by a specific loyalty card. Information relating to the status of the Holder is shown within the personal account area of the www.printemps.com website and in communications sent by Printemps. The Holder can also obtain this information on request at Printemps stores.


The terms applicable to the calculation of STATUS POINTS are the following: :

  • pour 2€ nets dépensés = 1 POINT-STATUT gagné (arrondi à l'euro supérieur du montant du ticket net de détaxe ou de la commande). Il est entendu que ne seront pas pris en compte les achats effectués dans les cas suivants : restauration, utilisation de services, don Printemps Listes ou achat effectué avec la carte Printemps Listes, carte ou chèque cadeau, utilisation d'un bon de réduction, ainsi que les frais de livraison.
  • STATUS POINTS can be collected at all Printemps Stores eligible for the programme and at Printemps du Goût on level 7 of Printemps Haussmann (excl.Crêperie Malo), as well as on the website www.printemps.com.


In the case of an online purchase made via the www.printemps.com website and subject to having linked a valid Card to the customer account beforehand, the credit of STATUS POINTS corresponding to the purchase amount (excl. delivery costs) will take place forty-five (45) days after the order dispatch date.


In the event of a refund for a purchase, the number of STATUS POINTS corresponding to the amount refunded will be deducted.

Statuses are accessible according to the number of STATUS POINTS accrued :

  • Silver status: between 0 and 499 STATUS POINTS
  • Ruby status: between 500 and 1,999 STATUS POINTS
  • Gold status: between 2,000 and 4,999 STATUS POINTS
  • Platinum status: 5,000 plus STATUS POINTS

In the event that the maximum points threshold for the status concerned is exceeded, the Holder of the Card will benefit from the higher status and the benefits associated with this new status the next day, on reaching the checkout. They'll also retain their SHOPPING POINTS balance and any discount vouchers acquired, provided their validity dates have not been exceeded.


Specific communication mentioning their new status will automatically be sent out to the Holder.

If the STATUS POINTS threshold is lower than the minimum authorised for that status, the Holder's status will be amended once a year, based on the number of STATUS POINTS awarded, on the anniversary date of the most recent status. Status Points collected are valid for a rolling twelve (12) month period.


It is understood that the Holder may see their status downgraded by one or more levels.

The new status is always shared and benefits Holders and joint holders.


Collecting SHOPPING POINTS

As part of the Programme, the Holder of the Card also accrues SHOPPING POINTS when shopping, allowing them to benefit from discount vouchers in the future.

The terms applicable to the calculation of SHOPPING POINTS are the following :

  • Achat effectué sur le site Internet www.printemps.com et en Magasin par le Titulaire d'une Carte Printania Silver : POINTS-SHOPPING multipliés par 1 (2€ nets dépensés = 1 POINTS-SHOPPING gagnés) ;
  • Purchases made via www.printemps.com et en Magasin par le Titulaire d'une Carte Rubine : POINTS-SHOPPING multipliés par 5 (2€ nets dépensés = 5 POINTS-SHOPPING gagnés), dans la limite de 150.000 POINTS-SHOPPING cumulables grâce à ce privilège en magasin et sur www.printemps.com
  • Purchases made via www.printemps.com et en Magasin par le Titulaire d'une Carte Gold : POINTS-SHOPPING multipliés par 8 (2€ nets dépensés = 8 POINTS-SHOPPING gagnés), dans la limite de 240.000 POINTS-SHOPPING cumulables grâce à ce privilège en Magasin et sur www.printemps.com
  • Purchases made via www.printemps.com et en magasin par le Titulaire d'une Carte Platinum : POINTS-SHOPPING multipliés par 10 (2€ nets dépensés = 10 POINTS-SHOPPING gagnés), dans la limite de 300.000 POINTS-SHOPPING cumulables grâce à ce privilège en magasin et sur www.printemps.com


It is understood that each SHOPPING POINT is rounded up to the next euro by the amount of the tax-free receipt or the order. It is understood that purchases made in the following situations will not be taken into account: restaurants, use of services, Printemps Listes donation or purchases made with a Printemps Listes card, gift card or voucher, use of a gift voucher, along with delivery costs and Louis Vuitton purchases.


SHOPPING POINTS can be accrued at all Printemps Stores eligible for the Programme and at Printemps du Goût on level 7 of Printemps Haussmann (excl. Crêperie Malo), as well as on the www.printemps.com website. www.printemps.com

Using SHOPPING POINTS

SHOPPING POINTS have no cash value and allow for quicker qualification for discount vouchers. SHOPPING POINTS do not increase the number of points linked to status.

Dès qu'un Titulaire atteint 1 000 POINTS-SHOPPING, ceux-ci sont transformés dès le lendemain en un bon de réduction d'une valeur de dix euros (10€) disponible en caisse et valable durant les six (6) mois suivant son obtention.


The points corresponding to the obtention of a discount voucher are automatically subtracted from the number of SHOPPING POINTS.


Discount vouchers can be used once and combined together, but not combined with other benefits such as customer loyalty activities and other exclusions defined by Printemps, depending on the event.


It is understood that discount vouchers will not be taken into account in the following situations: books, restaurants, use of services, Printemps Listes donation or purchases made with a Printemps Listes card, purchase of a gift voucher and Points Rouges stands: Louis Vuitton, GOYARD and Darty.

L'utilisation des bons de réduction est possible dans tous les Magasins Printemps éligibles au Programme (sauf placedestendances.com et Printemps Outlet à Miramas), à l'espace Printemps du Goût au niveau 7 du Printemps Haussmann (hors Crêperie Malo) ainsi que sur le site Internet www.printemps.com. En aucun cas, ces bons de réduction ne pourront être échangés contre des espèces, ni en partie, ni en totalité et ne pourront être cédés. Le Titulaire devra communiquer son numéro de passeport en caisse pour l'utilisation de bons de réduction en Magasins.

Payment with discount vouchers cannot exceed 50% of the total value of the purchases made by the beneficiary using discount vouchers in Stores and on the www.printemps.com

In addition, on the www.printemps.com, les bons de réduction peuvent être utilisés dans la limite de 200€ réglés en bons de réduction par commande (soit 20bons de réductions de 10€ au maximum par commande). Il n'y a en revanche aucune limitation en magasin.


In the event of a refund, discount vouchers cannot be returned, even in the case of a partial refund.


3.4. Details of the programme's benefits and services

Depending on their status, the Holder and the joint holder can access a selection of benefits with a defined and limited number of uses :

3.5. Promotions and marketing offers

The Card Holders benefit from advantages and special offers, such as private sales, invitations to previews, store events, etc.

These benefits may vary depending on the status acquired. Card Holders will be able to acquire more STATUS POINTS, SHOPPING POINTS, discounts and other promotions as part of the Programme.


To this end, Printemps reserves the right to ask for proof of identity at any time.

The benefits of the Programme cannot be combined with the benefits offered to holders of the Printania card or the Printemps Listes card.



4. EXCHANGE AND REIMBURSEMENT POLICY


In store, we exchange or reimburse your articles in the 30 days following the date of purchase, the articles, complete, in their original condition, unused, unwashed, undamaged, unworn, except for orders and food, on presentation of the receipt and in presence of the customer. Otherwise, no reimbursement will be made. Reimbursement is made with the same mean of payment used at the time of the purchase.


Subject to the application of legal warranties, the store reserves the right to refuse reimbursement or to take back an article in particular in case of breaches listed in the article of these conditions entitled "Programme exclusions".

6.FRAUDULENT USE


In the event of fraudulent use of their Card, the Holder will need to go to the Printemps Services Area at their Printemps Store or contact customer services via the contact form available on the www.printemps.com ou www.placedestendances.com website to file an opposition.

A new card will then be granted to the Holder and their benefits therefore retained. However, Printemps is released from any liability, including regarding the fraudulent use of benefits by a third party before the opposition.



7. RENEWAL, TERMINATION OF THE PRINTANIA INTERNATIONAL CARD OR ACCOUNT AND RE-ENROLMENT


7.1 If the Printania loyalty card is not used for three (3) years, it will be cancelled automatically.


7.2 The holder of the account or a third party acting on their behalf (on presentation of proof: death, guardianship, etc.) can request the termination of the account at any time in store; the linked card(s) will then be deactivated and the accrued benefits lost. In the event that the Holder wants to cancel their card within twelve (12) months, they should contact customer services directly.


7.3 Furthermore, the customer can join the Programme again six (6) months after cancelling their Card.



8. PROGRAMME EXCLUSIONS


The Programme offers benefits and services to loyal Printemps customers based on their purchases. This programme requires that the Card Holder complies with the terms and conditions of the Programme and is loyal to Printemps.


As a result:

  • any breach of these terms and conditions,
  • any abusive or fraudulent use of the benefits and services offered through the programme,
  • any purchase of more than ten (10) products per day with the same item number in the Beauty range,
  • or any purchase of more than five (5) products per day sharing the same ID number within the other departments
  • any act likely to disrupt the functioning of the programme and/or stores,
  • any falsification of information submitted by the Card Holder or a third party acting on their behalf,
  • and more generally, any behaviour detrimental to the interests of the Printemps company will automatically result in the termination of their loyalty account, resulting in the deactivation of the linked Card and the loss of points and benefits without any compensation or damages of any kind whatsoever able to be claimed from Printemps.


In view of the above, the Printemps Company furthermore reserves the right to take any measure or initiate any action (including legal) that it deems necessary.
