The right time, the right place, and a handmade yet useful gadget: the beginnings of the Native Union brand in a nutshell. It all started in 2009, when Igor Duc, the head of a contemporary furniture brand, met John Brunner, who designed and sold barbecues, in a co-working pace in Hong Kong. The two bonded over their mutual aspirations to work in a stimulating field. When Igor Duc found an old telephone handset and equipped it with a Jack plug to connect it to his Blackberry, his future partner was impressed and asked him for a copy. Far from being a mere experiment, the object had a very precise function: the ability to check e-mails while online, without having to cut off communication. Seizing the opportunity, they decided to market it. A few months of development later, the Moshi Moshi was launched. Thanks to mounting success, the duo continued their expansion in tech products. The idea? Offering considered solutions for connecting, recharging or protecting devices that are beautiful, high-performance and adaptable to multiple needs. Today, the brand excels in both refined style with its Italian leather cell phone cases and in functionality with various charging cables (worth mentioning the cable with weighted knot that keeps the latter in place), wireless chargers and power sources.
