The founder of Maison Rebatchi called upon the exceptional nose of Aliénor Massenet to create the Cuir Tassili eau de parfum. The perfumer was given carte blanche to create a fragrance inspired by a trip to the Tassili desert, paying tribute to Mohamed Rebatchi's origins. Evoking an early morning awakening in this traditional region in south-eastern Algeria, Cuir Tassili reveals accents of tea and sherbet, as well as those of camel saddle leather. This floral, spicy and leathery olfactory composition was obtained using the finest traditional artisan processes and is contained in a jewel-like bottle featuring Maison Rebatchi Paris' signature embossed design.

« Pour rendre hommage aux origines de Mohamed Rebatchi je me suis inspirée d'un réveil le matin dans le désert de Tassili, territoire traditionnel des Touaregs Ajjer ou Touaregs de l'Ouest, au sud-est de l'Algérie. Après une nuit passée sous une tente, on décèle l'odeur du thé et celle du cherbet, cette citronnade algérienne, ou encore l'odeur des selles de cuir des dromadaires. Une invitation au voyage »
