Underground. Cheeky. Bold. No shortage of adjectives to describe the French label, Carne Bollente. Why? Since its creation in 2014, the small yet mischievous brand deviously puts sex at the heart of its concept. The result? T-shirts, sweatshirts and embroidered jackets featuring characters making love. Behind this daring and diverse label is the trio, Agoston Palinko, Hijiri Endo and Theodore Famery. Inspired by the adult film The Rise of the Roman Empress (whose original title was none other than Carne Bollente) and its star Cicciolina, the designers had the great idea to create a T-shirt collection, combining sex with fashion. Following the success of their creations, the three friends extended their collaboration beyond their first collection, moving away from the embroidery designs that had originally gotten them noticed. With knitwear and prints, the label's creative spectrum continues to expand season after season, developing into an original and diverse collection. Crude, romantic and surprising, the erotic scenes are not easily ignored. Whether you find them charming, disturbing, unsettling or simply perplexing, Carne Bollente isn't stopping any time soon and continues to explore open-minded sexuality with a range of "Orgasm" baseball caps, scarves and socks, along with t-shirts featuring increasingly provocative and sensual prints. They are becoming highly sought-after: in addition to its retail success, the brand has also gained significant recognition from its peers. In November 2019, after having designed an exclusive NSFW pro-Europe t-shirt for the HighSnobiety website and socks for Hello Mr. magazine, this sassy little group joined forces in a collaboration with the great and wise Agnès b. For its Spring-Summer 2020 collection, the label continues its direction forward with both a freestyle and daring graphic designs.> View more
