There are brands whose stratospheric rise defy all expectations, and accessories label By Far is one such example. An emerging creative force that's changing the face of the fashion industry, this Bulgarian brand began turning heads with the launch of its very first collection — a welcome addition in a world craving novelty. A product of family and friendship, By Far — an acronym composed of the founders' three sons first initials — was founded in 2016 by twin sisters Sabina Gyosheva and Valentina Bezuhanova, with the help of their best friend and sister-in-law Denitsa Bumbarova. While the former two were running a renewable energy company, the latter, previously a model, was pursuing a degree in art history. Playing on codes from the 90s and saturating their creations with pop culture references from every cool kid's favorite decade, the trio struck gold. Their first success was a small baguette bag dubbed the Rachel, an homage to the famous leading lady of TV series Friends. Jennifer Aniston's iconic character is in good company: alongside it, there's the Miranda, Donna, and even Britney. The "Clueless" vibes are spot-on, with cute square-toed sandals and dainty little bags to boot. From the start, the dynamic trio has doubled down on accessible prices, artisanal quality, and sustainable practices. Each piece is made by hand in factories located in Bulgaria, Spain, Italy, and Portugal. The leather employed is of premium quality and responsibly sourced, 30% of it recuperated from Italian production centers. By Far is as green as it is, well, in, and its creators are surfing the wave with an impeccable Instagram account featuring retro-chic accents.
