Produced by the Cire Trudon house for almost four centuries, all the brand's candles are crafted in the its workshop in Normandy, using the traditional techniques of master wax makers. This exceptional expertise is showcased in the Maduraï candle, presented in a handcrafted glass and adorned with the label's signature gold plate. Inspired by Indian legends and rituals where jasmine becomes an offering and a symbol of beauty and love, this olfactory composition reinterprets the sacred flower, embellishing it with ylang-ylang as a top note on a benzoin resin base. Le Duc de Toscane introduit le jasmin en Inde vers 1690. Originaire d'Arabie, ses fleurs fraiches ou séchées nourrissent, depuis, la culture indienne dans ses mythes et attentions quotidiennes. Ici, le jasminum sambac parfume le thé ou se noue en guirlandes ; là, aux abords des temples, il devient offrande.
