With ultra-soft, dense bristles and a tear-drop shape, this foundation brush ensures effortless application across the whole face. Inspired by makeup artists, it makes foundation melt into the skin for the most natural finish. Designed to absorb just the right amount of product, it offers flawless coverage. And as a little bonus: it works perfectly with all Laura Mercier foundations.
- Product pick up and lay down: The cream texture adheres naturally to the synthetic fibres. For best results with any type of pressed powder, press the bristles into the powder to absorb it. Next, press the brush against the back of your hand to work the powder into the brush. This ensures that the powder is loaded into the bristles and minimises fallout. Gently tap the brush once on the back of your hand to remove excess product. Tap and press the loaded bristles over the entire surface first. After placing the product, blend. Hand position: For precise, detailed application, hold the brush in the centre of the handle or closer to the ferrule. Pinch the brush handle between your thumb and middle finger. For more control, also use your index finger to lightly touch the handle, which will act as a “guide” during application. You should feel as if you are balancing the brush. Hand position: To blend and diffuse the colours, hold the brush loosely, close to the end of the handle and pinch lightly between the thumb, forefinger and middle finger. This will give a more “painted” result.
