Balenciaga Dresses

Launched in 1917 by Cristobal Balenciaga, the eponymous brand is one of the oldest haute couture houses. Known and recognized internationally for its legendary anticonformism, Balenciaga revolutionized the fashion world as early as the 1930s, particularly thanks to its first collections inspired by Iberia.
And while the Parisian brand has established itself as a reference over time, it is partly due to the talents who succeeded the one nicknamed 'the couturier of couturiers' such as Alexander Wang, Nicolas Ghesquière, Josephus Thimister, Michel Goma, and since 2016, Demna Gvasalia. Founder of the collective Vêtements, the Georgian stylist has brilliantly reappropriated the brand's codes, with increasingly avant-garde and sophisticated creations.

The Balenciaga shoulder pad dress

At Balenciaga, we dare everything. The prints, the embroidery, the deconstructed cuts, and above all, the play of volumes. It is in this 'anti-conventional' spirit that the Campaign dress, from the Spring-Summer 2020 collection, was imagined. Featuring large couture-style shoulder pads, this dress with a Barrel silhouette ensures a chic, sophisticated, and charismatic look.
Although bold, the Campaign dress remains easy to wear. It pairs well with the iconic Speed sneakers for a slightly transgressive touch, or with a pair of flat mules in leather for a distinguished yet cozy style. Finally, for accessories, we of course fall for the timeless Hourglass bag, mini version, in grained calf leather.

Balenciaga oversized dress

A fan of oversized silhouettes, the Balenciaga house makes a strong statement with the Stola dress. Dressed in a Scribble print featuring the brand's name, this white silk midi dress stands out thanks to its asymmetrical, diagonal cut, ideal for highlighting all body shapes.
XXL lines again: the denim shirt dress in blue with short sleeves, whose cut almost resembles that of an extra-large Balenciaga t-shirt dress. Made from a cotton fabric with a faded jean look, this model stands out for its vintage look and its signature print placed at chest height.
Finally, in a completely different style, Balenciaga also offers loose and deconstructed dresses, with colorful and floral prints, reminiscent of the famous embroidered flower creations from its beginnings.
