      MARINE SERRE Men
The futurist, avant-gardist brand Marine Serre embodies eco-responsible fashion. Created in 2017 by its namesake designer, this French brand distinguishes itself through its clean-cut designs, which have a precise perspective on form and colour. A native of Corrèze and an LVMH prize laureate, the designer defends innovative fabrication based on recycled synthetic materials and fibres. Composed of different fabrics and knits, the pieces regularly bring together technical sportswear and the typical techniques of French couture. In 2018, Marine Serre inaugurated her first fashion show at Paris Fashion Week with an iconic collection called "Manic Soul Machine". She was broadly celebrated by press around the world for her post-apocalyptic vision and theme of "futurewear". Her credo? Volume and a love for graphics, marked by a sporty allure inspired by her passion for tennis. Careful about how her clothing fits the body best, the designer doesn't hesitate to use revolutionary techniques enhancing comfort under extreme conditions. For example, Marine designed a foam-filled jacket that supports the spine when you sit in the metro. Marine Serre's hybrid bohemian and professional world traverses time and space. Her emblematic crescent-moon logo and spherical bags have also helped the brand grow around the world. For Marine, the logo symbolizes several things and doesn't necessarily have a religious connotation. In her words, "It is in some ways an homage to Arab culture and all that we wished to say without daring to speak out loud, it's a testament to the multiculturalism of Paris, Brussels and Marseille, the cities where I've lived". It's a cosmopolitan vision that breaks down clichés even in the dressing rooms of the most informed fashionistas.
