The founder of Elleme may be self-taught — she studied Political Science — but that hasn't stopped her from becoming an overnight star, and it's well-deserved. Based in Paris, Jingjing Fan has always refused to compromise in terms of quality and design. In 2015, after opting for a career in fashion, it wasn't long before her leather goods line and her creations came to life. A jumbling of the phrase "elle aime," or "she loves" in French, Elleme's accessories unite simplicity, timelessness, and singularity, made in Italy in workshops hand-picked by the designer after a long selection process. In terms of aesthetics, it's the fusion of Parisian sophistication and Asian influences that define the graphic lines and minimalist silhouettes of the label's handbags, made specifically for the confident woman who owns what makes her unique. Among the models that have won fans the world over, we find the Baozi — evoking the Chinese speciality that lent its name as well as its supple and rounded form to the purse — now available in a host of colors, materials, and even snakeskin. The Vague, revisited time and time again, also comes in a variety of sizes and formats, and even caught the eye of none other than Queen B, Beyonce. Ladies, in formation !
