It is in this dazzling destination that he declared to have discovered the true essence of "color" - a new depth for his creativity. At the heart of his Moroccan passion, he acquires Dar el-Hanch, his first sanctuary in the medina. Known as "The House of the Snake," this traditional riad bore the mark of its owner - a vibrant red and blue cobra, painted by Monsieur Saint Laurent himself, adorning its walls and the postcards he sent to his friends. In the exhilarating courtyards and shaded terraces of the riad, a haven of bohemian chic flourished.
