    Germanier Women

If so-called responsible fashion is now seen as the norm, that was not the case a few years ago. However, it is an ideology that Kevin Germanier has always adhered to, both out of conviction and necessity. A native of Switzerland, it was during his training at Central Saint Martins College (London) that he discovered the tricks and tips that allowed him to create a collection at a lower cost: reusing sheets or blankets bought in bulk or second-hand, he imagines pieces that already respond to his very particular aesthetic. Continuing on his path, he joined Louis Vuitton, where he refined his training while continuing to work on his eponymous label. But the other strength of Kevin Germanier lies in his work with beads. Upcycled as well, they allow him to imagine unique models whose particular details immediately evoke his brand. Inventive, the designer has notably developed a technique of 'silicone embroidery,' which allows him to work more quickly while signing pieces that look only like him. A family affair, the Germanier label also has the particularity of employing several relatives of the designer, starting with his mother and grandmother, who help make the knit pieces of the house. The future has never seemed so colorful.
