Baum Und Pferdgarten Women

Well before Ganni went international, Scandinavian fashion was already well and truly thriving. Baum und Pferdgarten has been causing a frenzy in Copenhagen for quite some time. Founded there by Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave, after they graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Design in 1999. The name is a play on their surnames and a nod to what they learned during a student project. Built by two strong yet different personalities, the label reflects their continuously contrasting styles, experimenting with the masculine/feminine, maximalist/minimalist, traditional/modern and even smart/eccentric. The irreverent creations clash prints and hues in a truly distinctive style, with their favourite patterns, leopard print and checks, being revived each season.
Having always been well-known in their native Denmark, the brand notably won the Brand of the Year Award twice (in 2014 and 2017) at the Elle Style Awards.
