G-Star Raw, also known as G-Star, is a Dutch brand founded in 1989 by Jos van Tilburg. Specialised in denim, the ready-to-wear brand quickly made an impression with its urban style thanks to its "Just to Product" philosophy, which emphasizes quality and innovative techniques. In 1996, the Dutch brand dreamed up 3D denim, a concept that designs pre-formed jeans that perfectly match the curves of the body for optimal comfort. This innovation-focussed label has already seduced many big names in fashion and music like the French designer Philippe Starck in 2008 or Pharrell Williams, who signed a collab with the brand in 2014. Committed to the protection of the environment, the brand designed items made from recycled ocean plastic, protecting biodiversity and encouraging responsible fashion.
