Moncler Paris Fashion Week - F/W 2013-2014

Reputed for its parkas and puffer coats, Moncler has just announced its new ecological engagements. The label has opted to forgo animal fur in the making of its garments from here on out. "The business will stop restocking fur this year, and the last collection to use animal fur will be in Fall-Winter 2023," according to a press release.

It's news that lines up with the brand's responsible practices, including the environment and resting on five pillars: climate action, circular economy, fair sourcing, enhancing diversity and giving back to local communities.

Moncler has already committed to the sole use of premium materials, sourced from recycling or made with at least 65% organic materials, and they favor renewable energy sources on their production sites around the world. Alongside this, their Born to Protect line is made entirely of responsible materials.
