    It is often said that love drives one to accomplish great things, and the story of the Maison D'Orsay is irrefutable proof of this. Born from a heartbeat, the D'ORSAY perfumes came to life in 1830, when Alfred d'Orsay crystallized his forbidden loves with Marguerite de Blessington into a fragrance. To pay tribute to the refined spirit of Count Alfred d'Orsay, the Maison continues the quest for beauty that reveals personalities by expressing their souls. From this romanticism emerge elegant essences, true recreations of aesthetes characterized by emotional sensuality, as well as a high aesthetic demand. In 2015, Amélie Huynh discovered the Maison D'Orsay, as one finds a Sleeping Beauty. Convinced that great stories are meant to last, she decided to give it a new breath almost 200 years later. Cradled by fragrances since childhood and touched by the story of Alfred and Marguerite, Amélie Huynh explores through the D'ORSAY creations, the state of being in love up to carnal desire, speaking of feelings and intimacy.
    Each fragrance is composed of the finest materials and created by independent noses such as Olivia Giacobetti, Mark Buxton, Karine Chevallier, Bertrand Duchaufour, Fanny Bal, Amélie Bourgeois, Anne-Sophie Behaghel, and Vincent Ricord. Entirely crafted in France, the glass bottles are designed as art objects, with the design developed exclusively by the Maison. In a nod to the founder, the cap takes the shape of the dandy hat of Count d'Orsay. The body perfumes are named after the initials of a cult personality and accompanied by a hint phrase, allowing you to discover their identity without ever revealing it. The candles and room sprays are presented as a proposal for a meeting, with the time and place of the encounter. A poetic and mysterious approach, adding a touch of panache to these legendary olfactory delights.
