Sandalwood Sacré, created by Le Jardin Retrouvé, was inspired by Yuri Gutsatz’s many visits to India. The fragrance opens with an explosion of aldehydes and lemon, evoking the first light of morning on the sacred ghats. At its heart, jasmine, geranium and ylang-ylang unfurl their captivating floral bouquet, capturing the essence of floral offerings in ancient temples. Finally, in the base notes, sandalwood, patchouli and oakmoss offer an earthy, woody echo to divine prayers, while tonka, labdanum and civet add a touch of mystical sensuality, enveloping the wearer in a sacred, timeless aura.
