With your face wet (ideally after showering) run your shaving brush under warm water and lather up the soap inside the bowl (without crushing the bristles) until you achieve a thick, creamy foam. Apply to the face in circular motions for one or two minutes until your beard hair is sufficiently softened and lifted.
