On, the brand revolutionising running shoes, saw the light of day in Zurich in 2010, thanks to the avant-garde vision of the Olivier Bernhard, a professional athlete. Inspired by the desire to create an unrivalled running experience, Bernhard started doing bold experiments, beginning with the addition of a piece of pipe to the outer heel of this prototype, to try to attain unequalled comfort and performance. Soon after, Caspar Coppetti and David Allemann joined the adventure, strengthening the brand's foundations. Together, they committed to offering the unique feeling of "running on clouds", defining the brand's main concept and growing their reputation, earning their updated prototype the prestigious ISPO BrandNew Award. Furthermore, at the heart of On's constant evolution is the On Lab in Zurich, a centre for innovation where a dedicated team of scientists and technicians are constantly pushing the limits of running shoe technology. In effect, for its designs, the brand chooses an ecological and responsible approach, using materials that don't require fossil fuels, and opting for circular design. The results? A collection of shoes combining elegance, comfort and performance. Equipped with "CloudTec" technology - designed to offer adaptive, precise shock absorption - the shoes are adapted to diverse types of runners and terrains. As such, On is more than a running shoe brand. It's a community created by athletes, for athletes. In 2019, the brand strengthened its commitment to athletic excellence, collaborating with the legendary Swiss tennis player, Roger Federer.
