Sacred Wood paints a portrait of Sandalwood, particularly the most sought-after variety from Mysore, with its simply incredible spicy, woody, and milky facets.
Now banned, Kilian Hennessy recreates his olfactory ideal. Sacred Wood opens with absolute Ambrette seeds and Carrot seed oil for spicy and earthy elements, before unfolding into a multilayered Sandalwood accord with Atlas Cedar oil from Morocco and Amyris oil from the Dominican Republic. Copaiba oil adds warmth with an animalic aspect of Apricot. A malty milky vapor rises like incense, creating an exceptional and lasting trail.
