For best results and to prevent the wax from cracking, leave your candle lit until the wax has melted to the edges. Close the lid to extinguish the flame. Allow the candle to solidify before relighting. Trim the wick after each use, making sure it is no longer than 6 mm (0.2 in). Do not leave it burning for more than four hours at a time. Place your candle on a flat surface. Do not leave the candle unattended or within the reach of children or pets.
