Wishing to evolve his vision of the industry, Thorel embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure, creating the Centre d'Études et de Recherche en Esthétique et Dermatologie Appliquée in 1977, which would eventually yield Bioderma and Institut Esthederm. État Pur is the centre's newest brand and offers products for daily hygiene and care.
