    Rains Women

Specializing in waterproof parkas, the brand Rains was born in Denmark, where the weather is rainy 170 days a year. Daniel Brix and Philip Lotko are its co-founders. They met at the TEKO design school before launching their own brand in 2012, based on the desire to give a new dimension to functional design. The two friends initially focused on a single product: the poncho, made from rubber. The following season, Rains expanded its offering to a complete collection of clothing, bags, and accessories, all designed to withstand the elements. The label then makes use of innovative and technical textiles with quick-drying and moisture-wicking properties. Every element, from the hood to the waterproof seams to the durability of the finishes, is carefully crafted down to the smallest details to ensure optimized equipment for unpredictable weather conditions. Rains aims to bring a new perspective on rainy days and thus offer an opportunity to celebrate them with style and good humor. Functional but not only, the signature parkas, jackets, and anoraks stand out for their minimalist silhouette and clean lines that appeal to both teenagers and septuagenarians. The cuts are relaxed, fitted, long, or short, while the colors range from sober to more vibrant, including glossy or transparent effects. A phenomenon that has not gone unnoticed by influencers such as the German Caroline Daur or Pernille Teisbaek, a local ambassador and icon of Scandinavian fashion.
