hermès Precision Blending Brush

THE ITEM

The precision blender is an eye brush designed by Gregoris Pyrpylis, creative director of Hermès Beauty. It allows for blending color on the eyelid and emphasizing the lash line, for a precise yet diffused effect. Its tricolored lacquered wooden handle provides an obvious grip. The synthetic and goat hair mixed fibers are hand-assembled by a French brush maker.



THE TECHNIQUE

The round-tipped brush allows for targeted application of color. It is ideal for blending eye pencil lines; it smudges the line and stretches the material to elongate the gaze. The brush also intensifies the powder line from the Hermès Ombres quatuor eye palette along the lower or upper lash lines, for a smoky effect. As a finishing touch, it can add a touch of light to the inner corner of the eye.
