A word from the expert
Les Bains Guerbois, a historic Parisian house founded in 1885, combines heritage and modernity with luxurious and bold fragrances, inspired by the captivating atmosphere of its famous thermal bath turned hotel and temple of the night. The 1900 L'Heure de Proust eau de parfum, imagined by Jérôme Epinette, invites an olfactory exploration of memories and precious moments. It opens with top notes of bergamot, grapefruit, and blueberry. At its heart, black tea, violet, and Tuscan leather accords bring a comforting and soft warmth, while base notes of Guaiac wood, praline, and vanilla Praline, Vanilla Accord add a sensual and warm depth, leaving an elegant trail, like a timeless reminiscence of beautiful moments past.
Product detail
Parisian Belle Époque. A reminiscence of Proust at the Bains Guerbois with a dear friend. After a steam bath, a massage, here comes the languorous hour of tea. A black tea with blueberries and grapefruit. Confidences. Whispers in the ear. The scent of Tuscan leather, hints of violet, guaiac wood, and praline vanilla. From whom do these fragrances emanate? Him, her? Mixed scents. Lost perfume, rediscovered perfume.
A sparkling grapefruit accompanied by a tangy blueberry whets the appetite and signals tea time. It is served, black, intense, subtly smoked, accompanied by sweet treats. The madeleine is not far away.
