Hermès' first perfume.A powerful and sensual eau, rich in citrus fruits and spices.Conceived in 1951 by Edmond Roudnitska around a citrus-floral-spicy theme, Eau d'Hermès was the house's first fragrance. He drew his inspiration from evoking a scent, both wonderful and full of sensitivity: 'The inside of a Hermès bag, where the fragrance of a perfume floated... A note of fine leather, wrapped in fresh fragrances of citrus scents and spices,' the perfume maker commented at the time. A historical novel, inspired by the tradition and culture of the design house, for both men and women. Powerful, sensual writing.

Il puise son inspiration dans l'évocation d'une odeur merveilleuse et pleine de sensibilité : « L'intérieur d'un sac Hermès où flottait l'arôme d'un parfum... Une note de fine peausserie enrobée de frais effluves d'agrumes et relevée d'épices », commentait alors le compositeur. Un roman historique inspiré par la tradition et la culture de la maison qui s'adresse aux hommes comme aux femmes. Une écriture puissante, sensuelle.
