      With flattering cuts and pure, feminine lines, Tibi garments gracefully combine comfort and style. Based in SoHo, this New York label, known for its fluid dresses and elegant knitwear, was founded in 1997 by Amy Smilovic. After spending her childhood in Georgia, the designer and her husband moved to Hong Kong where, inspired by the city's vibrancy and the high quality of the local fabrics available, she decided to launch her women's fashion label. Her inspiration? "Prada, Calvin Klein and Donna Karan's pure minimalistic style during the ‘90s." Over the years, the brand has flourished, and Amy Smilovic now designs more refined avant-garde looks, always created with the most fabulous materials. Having initially found its niche as a mid-range label, Tibi then had to totally rethink its business and prospects with the advent of fast fashion. At the start of 2010, the brand set about completely reinventing itself. More intimate, concentrated and design-focused, the label produced collections mostly made up of essentials where the emphasis is placed on the pieces coherently transitioning from one season to the next. Today, Tibi is popular with women all over the world, seeking casual, stylish and easy-to-mix-and-match clothing.
