Naturae Sacra Women

Founded in Milan in 2016, Naturae Sacra is a brand of handmade bags crafted in Turkey, the homeland of its two founders Gizem Pirinççiler and Kerem Erhan. A blend of influences that marries Italian art with the richness of coastal Byzantine landscapes, reflected in each of the signature creations. Inspired by nature, sculpture, and interior decoration, the creative duo imagines contemporary pieces characterized by their minimalist design that takes the silhouette of elements from the outside environment. Each collection is imbued with a nostalgic charm and timeless elegance highlighted by its geometric lines. Concerned with social and environmental causes, Naturae Sacra entrusts the production of its products to Turkish artisans working with traditional vegetable tanning techniques and using materials from ethical sources. In line with this approach, the brand equips each of its models with handles made from natural resin derived from plants. An emblematic detail that allows its bags to stand out and gives them a unique dimension. Naturae Sacra, which means mystical in Latin, evokes the desire to protect nature and perceive it as sacred. Thus, the brand offers eco-responsible creations with a manufacturing process that opposes mass production.
