- After applying a protective base, apply the nail polish in two thin layers, then continue with a fixative. Apply the nail polish in long, regular strokes, avoiding small jerky brush strokes. Avoid leaving the bottle open for too long and store it in an upright position. Tighten the cap securely after use. Keep the neck of the bottle clean to facilitate opening.
