THE CREATION
Ombres d’Hermès eyeshadow palettes offer endless possibilities for expression, creating a natural, intense and sophisticated look. Each quartet showcases a trio of graduated powders, enhanced by a fourth, brighter and more surprising shade. They can all be used alone or combined, for a subtle harmony or a play of shadows.
THE COLOUR
A soft, luminous harmony of beiges and browns. It features a satin beige base to even out the eyelids, a warm matte brown to enhance depth, and two touches of light with pink and coppery highlights, for a delicate luminous finish.
THE FORMULA
The eyeshadow quartets are made with at least 89 % naturally derived ingredients. Soft and lightweight, the eyeshadow textures blend easily with the finger or a brush, for buildable, long-lasting intensity. The different finishes are inspired by silk craftsmanship : the matte finish evokes silk muslin ; the satin finish, silk twill ; and the shimmering finish, silk lamé.
THE OBJECT
Designed by Pierre Hardy, the eyeshadow quartet alternates between round and square shapes. Protected by a canvas pouch, then by an orange box, the compact comes with a lacquered wooden applicator brush.
THE COMMITMENT
The Ombres d’Hermès eyeshadow palette case is refillable by simply removing and replacing the pan. Refills are sold separately as quartets.
APPLICATION TECHNIQUE
1. Using the l’Ombreur brush, start by applying the neutral shade to the mobile eyelid.
2. With the le Traceur brush, define the lash line with a stroke of brown eyeshadow to intensify the eyes.
3. Using the applicator, brighten the eyes by applying a touch of radiance to the inner corner of the eye or the centre of the mobile eyelid.
