A word from the expert
Established in south-west France in 1270, the Frapin family is renowned for its wines and cognacs of exquisite taste and impeccable quality. In 2004, the company began specialising in the production of fragrances, offering collections inspired by its history and terroir. Designed by Jérôme Epinette, The Orchid Man eau de parfum, available here in a small format, is inspired by boxer Georges Carpentier, also known as the Orchid Man. It pays homage to the world of boxing, a sport governed by precise rules and respect for one’s opponent. Fresh and aromatic, it reveals a blend of black pepper, bergamot, jasmine petals, patchouli, black amber and oak moss. For a unique olfactory experience.
Product detail
Boxing, like perfume, is a meeting with oneself. A meeting made of rituals and studied gestures. It is also a violent moment that must be elegant. Governed by precise rules and respect for one's opponent, boxing has been a gentleman's sport since the late 19th century. A connoisseur of the pugilistic world, David Frossard takes all this into account when he launches the idea of a fresh, elegant, powerful, masculine perfume. Jerome Epinette, whom he met a few years earlier, is entrusted with interpreting this universe as animalistic as it is thoughtful.
