Established by Thomas Burberry when he was just 21 years old, the British label quickly made a name for itself in the fashion world, notably by patenting gabardine, the waterproof and highly resistant fabric used to make its famous tartan trench coats, the brand's signature motif. Committed to sustainability, the luxury English brand decided in 2017 to adopt a radical approach to implementing a more eco-friendly and environmentally conscious creation process.
