Founded in the 19th century, Printemps has always known how to reinvent itself, year after year, season after season. Continuing its renewal, Printemps has launched its own exclusive brand, Saison 1865. 1865 is a nod to the date of its founding and "Saison" is a wink at the new beginning of each spring and also to the fashion collection calendar. The word also inscribes itself in the present, evoking the exciting episodes of a TV series and its seasons. And none of this is by chance, because the mixed and transgenerational style of Saison 1865 tells stories across its collections, or "seasons", wherein the looks make up themed episodes. The first season opens with the trench, the tote and classic tailoring and they're real cliff-hangers that plunge us into anticipation of what comes next. Next up (spoiler alert!) are quilted jackets, half-zip jumpers and puffer coats. Saison 1865 tells a story of universal style for all, combining timeless classics and trendy pieces, so the story is punctuated. At its height, the suspense keeps us looking to the next episodes of this sharp wardrobe with its careful cuts and colours - a stylish wardrobe. Infinitely varied, the brand's ready-to-wear and accessories for women and men are also unconditionally committed to the environment: Designed in Europe in noble or recycled materials like Gots-certified cotton and Lyocell knits, the Saison 1865 wardrobe is labelled "Unis vers le beau responsable" (united for beautiful responsibility). Most of the leather goods are made in France by talented partner artisans. Saison 1865 is the history of fashion in motion: timeless, quirky, inclusive and committed.
