The anthology couple iris - violet come together in this creation with the depth of Grasse leather for a tribute to the origins of French perfumery.

Considered the international capital of perfume, few people know that the original know-how of Grasse in the 16th century was leather work, notably by the Master Glovemakers, whose strong and animalic scent could be disturbing. To remedy this, leather was impregnated with flowers like iris, violet, or rose, which particularly thrived on the lands of Grasse.
Fabrice Pellegrin, a native of Grasse, wanted to pay tribute to this village where he grew up by working on a leather note, reminiscent of the tanneries of yesteryear.
Violet leaves create the link between the softness of leather and the bitterness of lentisque, iris brings elegance and roundness to Cuirissime while containing its animalic aspect with delicacy.
