Poivre Samarcande is inspired by the memory of Jean-Claude Ellena, perfumer: "An oak tree was growing in front of my house. When it had to be cut down, the peppery, musky, and slightly smoky smell of the cut wood remained etched in my memory."

Woody and vibrant, Poivre Samarcande offers a burning black pepper softened by a suave oak moss. An Hermessence suitable for both men and women.

The bottle of Poivre Samarcande is highlighted by a lacquered burnt pepper tone on the glass and its leather cap.
