Founded in 1978 by the great Gianni Versace himself, the eponymous brand has been the object of much fascination in the world of fashion for decades. Propelled to an international status in the 90s, it took the ancient Greek and Roman vestiges ever-present in the designer's native region of Calabria as an emblem. The infatuation that Versace's universe generates amongst supermodels and celebrities has, without a doubt, contributed to the notoriety it enjoys today. When the talented designer passed away, his younger sister, Donatella Versace, wrote a new chapter in the history of the brand by taking over the Artistic Direction of the Milan Fashion House.

Characterized by XXL chain-linked rubber soles, braille "LOVE" lettering on the front, and the subtle presence of the ever-symbolic Greek Key, the Chain Reaction sneakers turned out to be one of the Milan brand's biggest hits.
